QR Code Generator
Choose what the code should hold and type it in. The preview updates as you type, and nothing leaves your browser.
Content
Links open in the scanner's browser; any other text is shown as is.
Phones join the network when the code is scanned. The password is encoded in the image, so share it only with people you trust.
Include the country code (for example +44) so it works from anywhere.
Saved as a vCard 3.0 contact. Leave out any field you don't need: fewer details make a simpler code that scans more easily.

How to make a QR code
Pick a type, fill in the fields and the code is drawn as you type. Download it as a PNG for screens and documents or as an SVG for print, where it stays sharp at any size. Test the code with your phone's camera before you print it.
Which error-correction level should I use?
Error correction lets a scanner read a code that is partly dirty, torn or covered. Higher levels survive more damage but need more modules, so the code gets denser. Medium suits most uses; choose High if the code will be printed small on a rough surface or partly covered by a logo.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. These are static codes: the link or text is stored in the pattern itself, with no redirect service in between, so they keep working for as long as the content does. There is no scan tracking either.
Is my data private?
Yes. The encoder is our own Rust code compiled to WebAssembly and runs on your device. Your links, Wi-Fi passwords and contact details are never uploaded or stored. Dark modules on a light background scan most reliably; keep the quiet zone at 4 modules where you can.
